iPad Art By Evan Thomas. Straw Hats and Baskets. The source photo included is from Sacramento’s Midtown Farmers Market. I posted an earlier version six weeks or so ago. (It would be the second mostly yellow piece in this posting.) I now like the first one I put up today. My iPad lets me change my mind about what is the final take. Love it. Love it.

iPad Art by Evan Thomas: Update 6 10 2013: Done. (Update - from pen drawing to approaching its finish (AKA: watching a cut apple turn brown) These drawings take time to color, mainly cuz finding the right color scheme is tricky. The drawing works by itself, but color is its own master and demands tribute to be paid. Some details, like a building or one of the moons are better omitted. Just added screen shot of drawing in ArtStudio. The dark shadows and white lines were a no go Bringing the shadow back.)
Jennifer Young did these on my iPad Mini in Finngr Pro. Unfortunately many very good works were lost though we tried to save them. Nonetheless these give a good indication of her talent. The blurry pic of Jennifer is the only one I got of her in repose, which is when she looks much more lovely.
